What happens if I miss the tax payment deadline?

Beginning March 1st, taxes will be considered delinquent and will start to accrue monthly interest at a rate of 1.5% per month, or 18% annually. This amount is added to the tax bill. After taxes have been delinquent for one year, the City of Clarksville then turns the taxes over to the Delinquent Tax Attorney. Once the taxes have been turned over to the tax attorney, additional fees will apply; the delinquent tax payments will be accepted at the:
Office of the Clerk and Master, Montgomery Chancery Court
2 Millenium Plaza

Clarksville, TN 37040
