Clarksville Film Festival
The Clarksville Film Festival is an annual event that brings independent filmmakers and their films into the spotlight. Filmmakers and their crews will have 52 hours to write, direct, act, and edit a 2-4 minute original film.
The Film Festival Screening will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Roxy Regional Theatre, at the corner of First St. and Franklin St. in Downtown Clarksville. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top filmmakers.
2022 CLARKSVILLE FILM FESTIVAL TEAM COMPETITION
Team Registration opens December 2, 2021, and closes February 21, 2022
- All participants must attend the filmmaker meeting Friday, February 25th, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Freedom Point (250 Marina Way, Clarksville, TN 37040)
- All teams will have 52 hours to write, film, and edit a 2-4 minute film.
- All films must adhere to their chosen genre.
- All films must include festival chosen prop, line, and character.
$20 registration fee per team
Once submitted, your work will be judged by a panel of experts in the film industry, then shown on the big screen at the Roxy Regional Theatre in Downtown Clarksville, on March 12th.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top filmmakers.
Originally from south Alabama, Ryan Byrd joined Belmont University’s Class of 2018 in Nashville, TN, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Theatre. Passionate about stories, people, and leadership, she found my niche in Producing.
Her producing credits include work featured on Billboard, The Today Show, CMT, Jimmy Kimmel, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Award-Winning Documentary, “Why She Smiles”, etc.
Scott is currently the Associate Professor of Animation at Austin Peay State University where he has created a brand new BFA program in Animation + Visual Effects.
Previously Scott spent 8 years at DreamWorks Animation, first as a crowds artist and then as an animator. He has worked in feature & tv animation, live-action visual effects, gaming, web series, theme parks, and commercials - the latter winning several National ADDY awards for animation.
