CITY RECORDS DIVISION
The records division is a valuable part of the Clarksville Police Department due
to the multiple tasks performed by the records clerks. These tasks include dealing with
and handling the many requests of the public. Including, but not limited to, entering reports,
researching various situations, expungement of records, along with the various needs and
requests of police officers.
City records clerks are also responsible for calling out the specialized units, such as
the Fatal Accident Crash Team and the Tactical Unit. The responsibilities also involve
calling out wrecker services to assist in removal of vehicles from accidents. Each clerk

of Clarksville and play an important role in the success of the Clarksville Police Department.
