FATAL ACCIDENT CRASH TEAM

In 1980, the Clarksville Police Department changed its thinking concerning the Traffic Division. We accepted a Grant and increased the Traffic Division to decrease the amount of accidents and DUI's. At this time the department formed what is now called the Fatal Accident Crash Team (F.A.C.T.). In doing so, we selected officers and trained them in Accident Investigation, Advanced Crash Investigation, Reconstruction of Crashes, Photography, Interviewing Techniques, and Commercial Vehicle Crashes. This training plus years of experience has made the process much easier.
