Captain Richard Stalder
Captain Rick Stalder started his law enforcement career in 1988 when he joined the United States Army Military Police Corps. Captain Stalder served in the Army for 7 years before joining the Clarksville Police Department in 1995. Stalder has served the department in many positions to include Patrol Officer, Detective, Shift Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, Commander of the Traffic Unit, and Commander of the Professional Integrity Unit (Internal Affairs). Captain Stalder was promoted to the rank of Captain in February of 2008 and was assigned as the Commander of Neighborhood Policing District 2. In July 2011 Captain Stalder was assigned to his current position as the Commander of the Professional Integrity Division which includes Internal Affairs, Recruiting and Selection, and the Training Division. Captain Stalder is a graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Staff and Command and the 244th session of the FBI National Academy.
