Captain David Crockarell
Captain David Crockarell is graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. His concentration throughout his education has been in Homeland Security. He has a wife, Lori and a Labrador named Jessie.
Captain Crockarell was hired by the Clarksville Police Department in 1995, at that time he was a member of south midnight shift until becoming a Detective in 1998. He became a member of the TACT Team in 1999, where he was trained as a police marksman, explosive breacher, became Entry Team Leader, Assistant Team Commander and then Team Commander. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2001 and was a patrol Sergeant for District Two A Squad day shift. In 2008, he was promoted to Lieutenant as the director over the Training Division and general instructor for the Department, and was recognized by the State of Tennessee as a specialized instructor in firearms and SWAT. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in July 2011 and is the District One Commander.
