Mission Statement

The integrity of the Clarksville Police Department depends on the integrity of its members. The mission of the Professional Integrity Unit is to uphold professional ethics, values and standards. The Unit is charged with preserving this integrity by remaining objective and ensuring that regulations and procedures for professional conduct is adhered to. Our goal is to ensure that the integrity of the agency is maintained by an internal system in which objectivity, fairness and justice are ensured by an impartial investigation and review.

The Unit also is responsible for background investigations in processing all applicants for employment positions within the department. In order to ensure that the best possible candidates are selected as officers, the applicants must be required to meet all department standards and qualifications.
