Al Rivers Ansley

Ansley was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He was employed by the Clarksville Police Department on May 1, 1987. He earned a degree in criminal justice from Austin Peay State University in 1987. Ansley was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1992 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 1997. He was a member of the T.A.C.T. team for five years and served as commander. Ansley was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2001. He graduated from Northwestern Police Staff and Command School in 2001. Ansley was promoted to Chief on September 25, 2007. He graduated from the 231st session of the FBI National Academy on December 14, 2007.
